Support During the Southern California Wildfires
Dear Members,
Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the devastating fires currently affecting Los Angeles County. Many of us may know someone directly affected by this tragedy. In response, The Board of Directors for SDCLA voted to make donations to two organizations that are helping in the recovery efforts:
- The Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation
- The Pasadena Humane Society
We want to ensure that our neighbors across L.A. County are not facing this emergency alone and have our full support. If you'd like to contribute, here are some ways you can help:

- Inclusive Action – Open Air Emergency Worker Fund
This emergency fund supports outdoor workers (street vendors, landscapers, recyclers) impacted by the fires. The fund provides $500 in cash assistance to eligible workers on a first-come, first-served basis.
Donate to Inclusive Action - World Central Kitchen
Distributing free hot meals to those in need, including firefighters, across Los Angeles and Pasadena.
